It's for *nix and not Plan 9, but just glancing through the project description it looks like it'll get you to something like webfs from abaco.
Didn't I see someone put "mozilla.tar" in their contrib directory a while back? Well, I think that was a joke, but hey, maybe with 9p and VNC one could control a Linux instance of Firefox by directly mounting its TabFS filesystem!
