I only have a basic bare-metal UART going as of now (and, it was just yesterday I discovered it was functionally an 8250..). -Aidan --upas-bilxrdtpdzxqgyzdxqmhootrkq Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from 9front.inri.net ([168.235.81.73]) by oneiri; Mon Mar 11 14:34:36 -0700 2024 Received: from mail-lf1-f52.google.com ([209.85.167.52]) by 9front; Mon Mar 11 17:31:59 -0400 2024 Received: by mail-lf1-f52.google.com with SMTP id 2adb3069b0e04-5131a9b3d5bso4365668e87.0 for <9front@9front.org>; Mon, 11 Mar 2024 14:31:57 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=20230601; t=1710192716; x=1710797516; darn=9front.org; h=content-transfer-encoding:to:subject:message-id:date:from :in-reply-to:references:mime-version:from:to:cc:subject:date :message-id:reply-to; bh=LZ7gVhsCw0CnE77PRVTQ9o9N09HBYrKLkQiFsfGtU6g=; b=DTmONHLdJkNlBFhGnKet0IhOU3xr4G/jr99IRf8qwcqOc51v6yl1uoVEulPUv+GYlP QoUpEQxTxtHbSDYNYla1Qe7hmKJKoJ8BZbfwkb1bLbkVn+2dutN9w6eXX44FARI4p7kG PvGSf9zD4DGnX7JoII1l6tTlE+HjNaOaESFDQPVgNYlKwHlgbzIW1/+m55V/f344JBiy 0M9C9hrOeYzBndu8/9y3L5SXdO9vvtcp1e/4RRVPqh9oj2dDn1et7otaUtARN8uWD6/m B4mcm8oXKYZVLwLO4u3iKqqni9IlcbpNU/nyxa6pYyv5yadbSIq3nopqmqpfWC720Aby celw== X-Google-DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=1e100.net; s=20230601; t=1710192716; x=1710797516; h=content-transfer-encoding:to:subject:message-id:date:from :in-reply-to:references:mime-version:x-gm-message-state:from:to:cc :subject:date:message-id:reply-to; bh=LZ7gVhsCw0CnE77PRVTQ9o9N09HBYrKLkQiFsfGtU6g=; b=gjXBwSrZVo3WHK9j8DHgpBWlOfgod4xKIY5FOx91CmfTomy7A0brVI18jFanAcZKX/ NvJBGhmLahcEUZqCzXyy5CvvYm+YKX25D7VsXri5UxF5rYHAP1rzrgxZpP9urLV4Na7f jjFBBrf8c3VQiRQr6yAxrOsR4xwjMueE6Db1JU/Khpj65suqn7bKNEiywJRnDt9qZ2zR tCtQ3F9Xa/z6bVWlAqBNBwTyJTAnhhTinR1D1MCd9R7rVnEhp8h3JCVIGiSHn348NQ4+ +ler6UzQQ5Rj7aKWOHi2YLpNWCEiBd+V47Y5Dcd+zvkQ5BdYaMQ53ajrxh+z9y/JfDQ+ e3rw== X-Gm-Message-State: AOJu0YxfH0AUXlM5GGTKl62G6MQbSAWMLgzlq5OvslQisaoF1JJN96Ig GdfsX2H5cXtVUjuvM2R5H3b3s2iIj/6RqNy7Rq2F/pDfORrLdSHL+IHjd55vZzR8kn4mVaZdAiP mFflkTTKpAUe7Tn765z5GxepW7n6Yv9Xqvpw= X-Google-Smtp-Source: AGHT+IGZnV0f5C3G3r1RiHEV2mwUoRMFyjLiBPX8mCy0S8O8WFu/lPc3yKO1bhxzmOpckdSEnaKKYrhf2xqgGwG9vhA= X-Received: by 2002:a05:6512:3996:b0:513:4afa:a719 with SMTP id j22-20020a056512399600b005134afaa719mr7258861lfu.59.1710192715655; Mon, 11 Mar 2024 14:31:55 -0700 (PDT) MIME-Version: 1.0 References: <78F7F973-3C38-4896-ADB9-26B9C4632300@stanleylieber.com> In-Reply-To: <78F7F973-3C38-4896-ADB9-26B9C4632300@stanleylieber.com> From: adventures in9 Date: Mon, 11 Mar 2024 14:31:44 -0700 Message-ID: To: 9front@9front.org Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable List-ID: <9front.9front.org> List-Help: X-Glyph: ➈ X-Bullshit: social rich-client rails base controller Subject: Re: [9front] mnt reform rcore rk3588 Reply-To: 9front@9front.org Precedence: bulk I have done some basic 9front kernels with some help from Cinap for the rk3399 and rk3568. Not much beyond getting it to boot and talking on a uart. With the new generic Arm64 kernel, I would want to redo them to work with that. https://github.com/adventuresin9/9front-rk3399 https://github.com/adventuresin9/9front-rk3568 I had heard about this new module for the Reform, and the rk3568 shares 4 A55 cores with the rk3588. However, the rk3588 also has an additional 4 A76 cores. My experience so far with Rockchip; Documents are not too hard to come across. They tend to use standard uarts, and other peripherals tend to be stuff from Designware, so getting information on those from the BSD's is pretty easy. They seem to just use Mali for graphics on all their chips.
