No. The former was the BTL legal and patent department. The latter was
at AT&T (or perhaps Western Electric)

I know all the later contracts were with western electric... we have them due to the bsd/at&t lawsuit, right?

Ah, Berkeley's contract for Oct 73 is with Western Electric.
