I gave it a second try and cross seems to be fixed now. 

- Add `wxWidgets-common`  to `hostmakedepends` as it provides the wxwin.m4 that the travis log seems to be complaining about on cross builds.

- Move `gettext-devel` from `makedepends` to `hostmakedepends`

- Replace `./autogen.sh` in `pre_configure()`  with `NOCONFIGURE=1 ./autogen.sh` to allow `build_style` to configure the package.
