It is a Linksys EtherPCI Lan Card II with a Winbond 89C940 chip on it (supposedly an ne2000 clone). I tried adding... ether0=3Dtype=3Dne2000 ...to my plan9.ini, but still no /dev/ether0. Any ideas on what to try next? I guess I could have looked at the detailed device parameters under Windows98, before I blew it away :) An aside - I've been wanting to play with Plan 9 ever since I read the whitepapers about a year ago. I must say, I'm having a blast playing = with it so far. Thanks, Frank
