Windows can read and write files > without problem. > Thanks, > Kenji Arisawa > E-mail: arisawa@aichi-u.ac.jp well, i can say i've seen this one before. i have two AMD K6-3-400 boxes, both obtained at about the same time, with two different motherboards. both work with RH linux and window$ but ones floppy refused to work with plan9. digging around left the impression that there was something more fundamental than a timing issue but i ended up punting and using some other box for a terminal. sorry i can't be more hepful :< i _do_ know that what works for me was the MB with the ALI M1542 100Mhz chipset... i'm not sure what's in the other box. --eric
