The typical scenario is running mk or 8c to compile the stuff you are working on. The compiler spits out error strings suitable for plumbing in acme. If you plumb such a line a NEW instance will be opened with the full path in the tag - you end up with two versions of the same file(not Zerox'd) open for editing which can cause confusion. Chris.
