not sure PEM is such a good choice, 'cos many of the UA's don't
do it and it means you still have to deliver the message.  ron doesn't
want that, nor do i.  given that, a random token in the sig would
avoid the 'chainsaw meets butter' syndrome.

next i'd vote for s/mime.
