iirc, it was solved in #plan9, in a few minutes, and the
problem was the hidden+system bits, which you
can turn off, edit and then turn on again with 'attrib'.
funnily enough is was chris ? [kuroneko == black cat] who's
also from brucee's and my old stomping ground -- basser.
