I've also got 4th edition Plan 9 running on the ipengine, which is
based on the PowerPC 823.  I believe you can still buy those -
see http://www.brightstareng.com/ine1.htm for info.

I'm happy to contribute the port, but I should merge it with the other
ones in ppc first.
