i'd just like to be able to boot off my USB
floppy and then install using the stuff on c:

i don't think that's possible -- no plan 9
installed, no hacks to get it to boot.

then, i'd attack the USB support.  i have
a half-baked idea to use something like
plumbing to manage peripherals as they
are plugged in.
