Verisad (sic) are just a disaster. i have always tried avoiding them (as much as possible) and doing things myself (if possible). they have a tiresome habit of breaking stuff. i saw some other DNS weirdness as of yesterday. it may not be DNS related (i have side info), but it is very strange. iirc they are a root CA -- what a foul quasi-monopoly.
