I think once I had some resolution problem, that's why I set it by ip here instead of by name. Works fine enough so I never bothered to do it by name afterwards. hth, Mathieu --upas-axnamcybpzmoujpfnymnyoddnz Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: X-Original-To: mpl@smgl.fr.eu.org Delivered-To: mpl@smgl.fr.eu.org Received: by serenity.smgl.fr.eu.org (Postfix, from userid 65534) id EACF432CFC; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 12:20:01 +0100 (CET) X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.2.5 (2008-06-10) on serenity.smgl.fr.eu.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.6 required=1.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=ham version=3.2.5 Received: from mail-ew0-f214.google.com (mail-ew0-f214.google.com [209.85.219.214]) by serenity.smgl.fr.eu.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2B2B732CF3 for ; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 12:19:59 +0100 (CET) Received: by ewy6 with SMTP id 6so684708ewy.24 for ; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:19:59 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.102.174.3 with SMTP id w3mr2366992mue.48.1269343199564; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:19:59 -0700 (PDT) X-Forwarded-To: mpl@smgl.fr.eu.org X-Forwarded-For: mathieu.lonjaret@gmail.com mpl@smgl.fr.eu.org Delivered-To: mathieu.lonjaret@gmail.com Received: by 10.103.172.12 with SMTP id z12cs165657muo; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:19:58 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.140.57.13 with SMTP id f13mr2900843rva.70.1269343195281; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:19:55 -0700 (PDT) Received: from gouda.swtch.com (gouda.swtch.com [67.207.142.3]) by mx.google.com with ESMTP id 37si390951iwn.57.2010.03.23.04.19.53; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:19:54 -0700 (PDT) Received-SPF: pass (google.com: domain of 9fans-bounces+mathieu.lonjaret=gmail.com@9fans.net designates 67.207.142.3 as permitted sender) client-ip=67.207.142.3; Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of 9fans-bounces+mathieu.lonjaret=gmail.com@9fans.net designates 67.207.142.3 as permitted sender) smtp.mail=9fans-bounces+mathieu.lonjaret=gmail.com@9fans.net; dkim=pass (test mode) header.i=@gmail.com Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=gouda.swtch.com) by gouda.swtch.com with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from <9fans-bounces@9fans.net>) id 1Nu28R-0002UM-QI; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 11:18:59 +0000 Received: from ey-out-1920.google.com ([74.125.78.144]) by gouda.swtch.com with esmtp (Exim 4.69) (envelope-from ) id 1Nu28P-0002UH-Jc for 9fans@9fans.net; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 11:18:57 +0000 Received: by ey-out-1920.google.com with SMTP id 26so445885eyw.4 for <9fans@9fans.net>; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:18:56 -0700 (PDT) DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=domainkey-signature:mime-version:received:in-reply-to:references :date:message-id:subject:from:to:content-type :content-transfer-encoding; bh=HN0M4p8n5VGDWbct99KN6qJ1f+w9KUIfSuOUtRFkvWE=; b=ptm7eo0LWbeW6du18zI8MkE5kdjJNwc8Vks5tgcgTJVGgOnqH4DhdjsTt3hUcYjiev dimQnQvKMSdzVs1YwcnUTwHvdIgDhzueA5oj5jlkUcrmUtMehO6fTluj3WGLiqRqcRxK PQDT9SXqArb4ZLf+Sx4lE/BUwwQIPw5ogmF7s= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; c=nofws; d=gmail.com; s=gamma; h=mime-version:in-reply-to:references:date:message-id:subject:from:to :content-type:content-transfer-encoding; b=fLW/oca2J6qS4KtLlqvxiBUKZ088qO2Lw9D6gMX2XJr1HoldYOZM33Q3fyUJGoin0j 2n3vMOfdJXHGNYi0SSuFDojNYzl88g06+iAdhyozp0qB5zux1rtvMNxUuCUQQ6j7kn5b prNAZuf5Bhjzg9lm3qJ2fWbsfmrEJ8Sz3sRY0= MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: by 10.103.21.14 with SMTP id y14mr5903337mui.87.1269343136090; Tue, 23 Mar 2010 04:18:56 -0700 (PDT) In-Reply-To: <3981b50d0911211427n63fd4cbdv143b92123897fcbe@mail.gmail.com> References: <80c99e790911211333i3068ecfcxecc4b234e9d10218@mail.gmail.com> <3981b50d0911211427n63fd4cbdv143b92123897fcbe@mail.gmail.com> Date: Tue, 23 Mar 2010 12:18:56 +0100 Message-ID: <138575261003230418y337542b0xb1b72afd72982e9a@mail.gmail.com> From: hugo rivera To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@9fans.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Subject: Re: [9fans] using acme/Mail from plan9port in Linux X-BeenThere: 9fans@9fans.net X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.10 Precedence: list Reply-To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@9fans.net> List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.9fans.net> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: 9fans-bounces@9fans.net Errors-To: 9fans-bounces+mathieu.lonjaret=gmail.com@9fans.net I configured mailfs so now I can read email, thanks. But writing mail is not going so well: $ cat $PLAN9/log/smtp.fail myhost Mar 23 11:21:44 bad network /net/net!my.smtp.server!smtp (my.smtp.se= rver) myhost Mar 23 11:28:06 bad network /net/net!my.smtp.server!smtp (my.smtp.se= rver) myhost Mar 23 11:34:20 bad network /net/net!my.smtp.server!smtp (my.smtp.se= rver) after using marshal to send messages. The file $PLAN9/mail/queue/hugo/E.XXXXXX contains a very similar error smtp: bad network /net/net!my.smtp.server!smtp (my.smtp.server) I've been playing around with files inside $PLAN9/mail/lib but no success so far.
