While we were fixing it, we got frustrated with the editor we were using which was named ed. ed is certainly frustrating. err yes, i remember doing assignments in 'pi' and hacking in procedures (etc ...) that were basically threads. not all my work. strangely enough one of the guys who did a lot of the work was killed in 9/11. another one of those (somewhat less annoying) australians.
