You can see the result at http://apm.cifrid.net/p9p/patched/. looks like it fixed your problem. if you echo hwaccel off >/dev/vgactl your "idle stat" messages will go away. we apparently don't know how to talk to your card the right way to do accelerated ops. you want to put the echo into termrc or cpurc right after the line that runs aux/vga. russ
