Subject: [9fans] how to assign ipv6 address
Date: Fri, 22 Aug 2008 08:21:56 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <10b109140808212321i4576ee6dhe89d5055871030a5@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hello all,
does anybody know how to setup ipv6 address to my ethernet device?
(I would like to have local ether0 device with ipv4 address
192.168.0.5 together with ipv6 link-local and site-local
(fd32:6e43:fb94::5) address set via ipconfig+/lib/ndb/local)
1. I have in my /lib/ndb/local this record:
sys=monty
dom=monty.localdomain
ip=192.168.0.5 ip=fd32:6e43:fb94::5 ether=000c29144b0a
Is this right? Or should be there "ipv6=..." ?
2. What about ipconfig? I have tried some possibilities but without success.
Thanks,
Antonin
