Topicbox-Message-UUID: 0cf61b24-eace-11e9-9e20-41e7f4b1d025 hi ! i wonder why ext2srv and cdfs differ in method of mounting? ext2srv when run posts fd in directory /srv and user can use this /srv/ext2 descriptor to mount a linux partition somewhere in system for example /n/linux BUT cdfs doesn't place any fd in /srv and automatically mounts itself to /mnt/cd using default device /dev/sdD0. WHY these two fileservers differ? thanx for answers. sasa babic.
