Perhaps the list will get it through. The ethernet 83815 driver is not happy with your card. In the file "plan9.ini" on your floppy disk, try adding the line *noetherprobe= and comment out (with a # at the beginning of the line) any ethernet lines (like ether0=...). Then boot again. Once you get the system installed, we can try to figure out what's wrong with the ethernet driver. What kind of ethernet card do you have? Russ
