Subject: [9fans] Dell Latitude L400 and ATI Mobility
Date: Sat, 31 Jan 2004 15:11:18 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <125bd377de1189d3bd6a1745df28d95d@9srv.net> (raw)
the wiki lists the ATI Mobility as known to be unsuported, and my
Dell Latitude L400 sitting on my right confirms that it doesn't
work. the fact that it's explicitly listed is not encouraging for
future support. is it just a SMOP, or is there some known reason
why this chipset should be harder than anything else in VGA hell?
it really is a nice light laptop, and i'm already sick of running
linux on it, after just a week.
