Hi !<br><br>It seems that Plan9 boot loader doesn&#39;t support modern hardware from IBM :( <br><br>May be someone from IBM can help :) <br><br>P.S.: I have some IBM HS21 servers and I wish to use Plan9 on them.  <br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

<div>When booting the installcd on my ibm xserve 305 it says;<br clear="all"></div><div>Bios call failed: bios loading disabled</div><div>no plan9.ini</div><div></div><div>then it gives me a boot from: prompt but it doesn&#39;t matter which ide interface or device i try, it just brings me back to the prompt. </div>


<div></div><div>FreeBSD is installed on this particular machine right now and it does in fact have a floppy so i&#39;m gonna try the floppy too but it would be nice if someone could look into the source and see why it&#39;s giving this BIOS error. </div>
