I had one of those embarrassing "how did it ever work" bugs. Now hooking into hwdraw() and flushmemscreen() works pretty well. With an environment variable in cmdline.txt, it boots either expecting an HDMI monitor, or the little LCD screen. A little more playing around attempting improvement and then I might take a crack at supporting the touch screen. BLS
