several times in the past i have been in a situation where i have
booted an old plan9 cd with missing incorrect binaries. in those cases
i have always resorted to mounting the latest set off sources and
either compiling them or (more often) just running the binaries off
the Bell-Labs servers.
perhaps the future _could_ be just providing an interface to the
required build libraries to those who dislike downloading binaries :)
perhaps i'm naive, but i've been spoiled with p9 :)
