Still for anyone interested: http://jehanne.io on principle, i very much like jehanne's decoupling policy. it was the growth of excessive coupling between software packages which terminated all remaining fun freedom and hope i got from linux. perhaps you saw examples of my erstwhile hate for package managers. linux-style package managers and bsd-style port trees facilitate and enable coupling. it's an 'erstwhile' hate because i'm trying not to get so angry these days, i'm not thinking of going back to the packaged-for-posix world at all. perhaps it's ironic that i'm getting interested in forth. i intend to be very careful about interfaces in the long term. -- The lyf so short, the craft so long to lerne. -- Chaucer
