i am currently doing a driver for the gravis ultrasound.
the card is fairly easy to drive, but i'm still fiddling with the interface, and
the work is low priority so it will probably be a few weeks yet,
especially if it's harder than i think to avoid the dreaded `clicks'.
things like a patch manager (probably a file server) might take longer.
of course, if i were you i wouldn't rush out to buy one of
these cards on this basis, but it might be there if you need it ...
i don't know how the original ultrasound differs from the `ultrasound max'.
