If the plan 9 guys will be less likely to be actively involved if
the new group is not moderated than we would all be better served
by a moderated group.  I did however compile the following trivia
just before reading Phil's recent post and since I have it here 
already I'll pass it along:

	I count 87 comp.os.* newsgroups
	6 of these are moderated
	4 of these are announce groups
	
The two left are comp.os.linux.answers and comp.os.research.
