funnily enough, i live in a country where this really has changed several
times. it was apparently supposed to change again, owing to EU standardisation,
but i haven't heard much about it recently. up to now, each new
plug design has had enough advantages (in safety, in capacity)
to offset the disadvantages of making a change.
