Did a teletype let you go back and edit previous output, and then resend it???
Plan 9's windowing system (which is not named here for fear of invoking the
wrath of System V upas) is most definately not "implementing a teletype".
It is more modern than xterm, which doesn't make effective use of the mouse.
Encoding cursor motions as a series of escape sequences, now _that_'s archaic.

He did.  It's called acme.  I'm using it to send this mail.  What I just can't
understand is why Unix and Dos don't provide support for acme, I mean
they're so functionally incomplete.
