Because we didn't think of it when we started, we didn't know anything about PCs.
MS-DOS is just a fancy boot-ROM to get the terminal booted and connected to a fileserver.

Trying to shoe-horn partition management in now is awkward, but we're working on it.
If only installing Linux didn't keep trashing my OS/2 partition and my PC didn't
disappear all this week for UnixExpo, and my CD-ROM drive didn't die and I wasn't
being exiled to Bellcore and...

Looks like plan 9 is a kind of very sophisticated virus, invisible
for disk management tools of other operating systems :-}

Any reason not to have record in partition table for plan 9 file
system? May be installation of plan 9 is the point of no return? :-}
