Someone should probably do it as the Adaptec 2xxx controllers are fairly popular. However, it's unlikely to be me as 1) I tried again to get the manuals only to receive the "User's Guide" like I did 2 years ago and on further inquiry discover the useful manuals are all on back-order; 2) I don't have a controller and they do seem rather expensive compared to the NCR8xx alternatives with similar performance; 3) I looked at the Linux driver after this question came up last time and got frightened. ------ original message follows ------ >>From cse.psu.edu!9fans-outgoing-owner Sun Sep 24 07:42:28 EDT 1995 Received: by colossus.cse.psu.edu id <78414>; Sun, 24 Sep 1995 07:29:12 -0400 Received: from goggins.bath.ac.uk ([138.38.32.13]) by colossus.cse.psu.edu with SMTP id <78413>; Sun, 24 Sep 1995 07:28:55 -0400 Received: from bath.ac.uk (actually host solomon.bath.ac.uk) by goggins.bath.ac.uk with SMTP (PP); Sun, 24 Sep 1995 12:28:57 +0100 Original-Received: from GATEWAY by bath.ac.uk with netnews for 9fans@bath.ac.uk (9fans@cse.psu.edu) PP-warning: Illegal Received field on preceding line To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Date: Sat, 23 Sep 1995 06:58:06 -0400 From: tracker@halcyon.com Message-ID: <441l9d$o6r@news.halcyon.com> Organization: Northwest Nexus Inc.
