i think you have the adaptec configured for irq14, which plan9
expects only to be used by the ide/ata discs. the quick fix is to
change the irq on the adaptec to something else (i usually use 11).
the alternative is to wait and see if i ever get all the fixes
finished and a new set of floppies generated.

I'm trying to boot the first floppy on a 486/DX2-66.  This system is SCSI-only,
using the Adaptec 1542 (C, I think).  Boot up says:

scsi0: cap 843284, sec 512
Boot devices: fd!0
boot from...
found 9DOS...
...
start 0x80100020
exception/interrupt 14
halted

Any leads?  Thanks.
