*Sigh* I have a vadim (sp?) pcmcia controller. Normally this is supposed
to be a superset of the i82365 (Under BSD/OS I can find it as "Intel 82365SL")
but it appears to not be friendly with Plan 9. I even hacked the i82365
code to assume it is an i82365 rather than checking to see if it was a cirrus
chipset (the code found it as a cirrus chipset) but I don't seem to get
the 3C589 (not a 3C589B) is still not recognized. Maybe in a few months
I will have time to track this one down. With the many PC's I have, I
just don't seem to be able to find a combination of hardware and
availability I need to get a Plan 9 network running. It looks like I will
have to stay with kfs for some time.

Thanks for your input.

PS: The BSD/OS pcmcia code I am running is alpha code from some fine folks
in Japan and is not included in the BSD/OS release.
