hi, to install onto a partition, just use fdisk to delete the logical
drive -- as long as your partition is the highest one on the disk, plan9
will go into it for the File System Installation.

the first step of the installation puts the contents of the boot disk into
C:\plan9

btw, if your last fdisk was with OS/2's fdisk, you'll need to redo you're
disk with a DOS fdisk.
