are available for pick-up via on plan9.att.com (again). Only disk1 and
disk2.vd have changed.

The keyboard change which was in the diskettes since early September
and running on our local systems since June has been backed out to see if
it fixes the problems reported recently. The change was apparently prompted
by some systems being swamped by mouse interrupts when there was no PS/2
mouse attached. In such cases the mouse can probably be disabled via the
BIOS. If it turns out to be a problem there are probably ways to detect
which type of controller is involved and try to do the right thing.

The only other changes on the diskettes are an incorrect error message
in the install programme and yet more work on the ATA driver in a probably
futile attempt to auto-detect which drives are attached.

are available for pick-up via on plan9.att.com. These should hopefully
fix most problems people have had with disc configurations. ATAPI CD-ROMs
are also included in the list of supported hardware.

Some of the source changes are available as boddles in the update directory
already but not all changes are there yet.
