There are new 9dos andf 9pcdisk images in

ftp://ftp.cs.york.ac.uk/pub/plan9/ngr/ncr/9free

I had missed one relevant boddle, so the DOS file system 
wouldn't support LBA partitioning. This is now fixed, and at least 
one site has managed to install the 4 disk set on an IDE-free zone.
