The best resolution I think that is available on the Sun SLC is 100th
of a second.
Thus, the times(2) system call can return a time reported in clock ticks
in Solaris 2.X.

Does anyone know whether the Sparc SLC has a microsecond timer, or something
similar? If so, how does one access it? I am trying to measure how much time is
spent at high ipl, and where -- I am getting receive overruns at 2400 baud...
