A slight exaggeration: I've recompiled gs on an 8MB 486 (it takes a
few hours, but you only have to do it once). Increasing the maximum
process size in the kernel is straightforward: change SEGMAPSIZE in
/sys/src/9/pc/mem.h from 16 to 32 and rebuild.
