Nobody's forcing you to run anything.

I agree that X is horrible, but it is still useful to be
able to run X programs (netscape in particular). Ok, so
netscape is horrible too, but it's ``one of those programs
that you hate, but have to run''.
Until the world realizes that Plan 9 is the Uber Operating
System, and ports all the useful applications to it (or writes
Plan 9 replacements which are much, much better), it will be
useful to be able to run an X server under Plan 9.
