Hm, looking at the actual code, it seems that "b.com" is the one that
does not cope with the AHA1542CP/ST12400 combination. Presumably,
though, whatever needs changing in b.com will also occur in other
places.
Let me dig a little deeper, I also have to convince b.com to cope with
the many C-Net NE2000 (almost) adaptors I adopted in a moment of
exuberance.
