At least I think it is. i bet it isn't. these messages look like those the 8390 driver gives when the packet ring in the on-board memory is corrupted. that usually means that either the base address of the on-board memory or the size of that memory is incorrect. i'm not familiar with the card you have, check the values against what the kernel believes. --jim
