I needed to load P9 on a laptop today and didn't want to
start with the old system and update all the files, so
I cd'd to /sys/lib/pcdist and updated the procedure to
use gzip instead of the vd stuff and typed mk. The
result, which has all of the updates applied is in
ftp://ftp.dbSystems.com/pub/PLAN9/pcdist
You can also find some useful DOS tools in
ftp://ftp.dbSystems.com/pub/DOSTOOLS.
