Message-ID: <19980422115639.AVis4CCnMz_O_qFHgxZ8IvLX4E_D0qs-ledHj1NAQLc@z> (raw)
Situation so far:
booted plan9 from floppy distribution on IDE disk
mount u9fs file server with CD distribution installed
bind -b /n/skaro/386/bin /bin
bind -b /n/skaro/rc/bin /bin
bind -b /n/skaro/sys /sys
which gives me a system with a reasonably complete set of commands.
(havn't managed to boot direct to the u9fs server, or get other
than a cga display)
Now when I enter
cpu% man time
I end up with a continuous stream of:
stack: }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F }F !

troff: Stacksize overflow in n3; line 2, file time
Any ideas on what might couse this? I could not find a way to abort
this. Neither ^c, nor 'kill man|rc' from another terminal would help.
Regards,
DigbyT
P.S. what commands are available for checking on disk free space?
Also, is there any way to enquire about the current name space bindings,
similar to typing 'mount' in Unix?
