Subject: [9fans] Acme's file system - where?
Date: Tue, 14 Jul 1998 11:39:55 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <19980714103955.UVyzqTsQ0lPyzJ1Bt4tlIZPI8MU9dQqUpqMyZthSFc8@z> (raw)
you won't see the /mnt/acme contents in another 8.5
window because name spaces are distinct between windows.
on the other hand, ls /mnt/acme produces something sensible when executed
in those Acme contexts i've tried: button-2 exec of `ls /mnt/acme'
typed at the top of the Acme window, exec of ls /mnt/acme
in the tag of an arbitrary Acme frame, and creating a
window with win (/acme/bin/win) and typing
ls /mnt/acme in it.
