   Dear Sirs,

   Instead of using RAWRITE  to copy disk1 - the 1.44MB diskette image -
directly onto a floppy, one may opt to use
FDVOL.EXE a utility available from
ftp://ftp.minix.org/pub/minix/dosutil/fdvol.exe
The utility is being used to create a similar diskette for the
installation of MINIX.

The only limitation I know about rawrite is, you cannot use it with NT crap.
But with the tools set of FreeBSD is a little program called FDIMAGE which
is basically the same but also runs under NT.
