We do have a PowerPC environment (compiler, etc) should someone else want to step forward after the next release (Don't ask about when/how much/what strings yet since we're trying to figure that our ourselves). --upas-skccdrvuuoczlhkiczvmzqxtwi Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from plan9.cs.bell-labs.com ([135.104.9.2]) by plan9; Mon Dec 20 20:51:19 EST 1999 Received: from cse.psu.edu ([130.203.3.50]) by plan9; Mon Dec 20 20:51:17 EST 1999 Received: from localhost (majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with SMTP id UAA09128; Mon, 20 Dec 1999 20:31:03 -0500 (EST) Received: by claven.cse.psu.edu (bulk_mailer v1.5); Mon, 20 Dec 1999 20:29:28 -0500 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) id UAA08864 for 9fans-outgoing; Mon, 20 Dec 1999 20:29:23 -0500 (EST) X-Authentication-Warning: claven.cse.psu.edu: majordom set sender to owner-9fans using -f Received: from granite.cias.osakafu-u.ac.jp (granite.cias.osakafu-u.ac.jp [157.16.91.52]) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with SMTP id UAA08855 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 20 Dec 1999 20:29:15 -0500 (EST) From: okamoto@granite.cias.osakafu-u.ac.jp Message-Id: <199912210129.UAA08855@cse.psu.edu> To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Date: Tue, 21 Dec 1999 10:28:19 +0900 Subject: Re: [9fans] Plan 9 on Alpha? How about on the other machines included in the preveous distribution? , and how about on Mac? The latter would be important if you want to increase the number of Plan 9 users (especialy in Univ. etc), because Mac users don't like to change their machines. They love their Mac (most of them don't even know what is Mac :-), but I cann't change their "personality". Kenji --upas-skccdrvuuoczlhkiczvmzqxtwi--
