try
	cp /adm/timezone/local /env/timezone
this should work for subsequent commands in that window,
but unfortunately will not affect running programs.

The terminal and cpuserver kernels try to set the time when booting,
and the code in devcons.c only allows the time to be set once,
so if the time is set incorrectly when booting you can't fix it
until you're running a modified kernel which
allows >1 writes to /dev/time.

Plan9 terminal (standalone from CD).

It comes out that

cp /adm/timezone/US_Michigan /adm/timezone/local

has no effect. Date command shows +8 hours. Is there a way to
roll the time back!
