My ISP (cable modem) has started assigning dynamic IP addresses,
and the only viable alternative (ADSL) does the same thing. Is
there DHCP support in the new release of Plan9? IPv6?

I think this has come up before.
Ip/ipconfig configures via DHCP
by default now; there are IPv6 addresses
in the IP stack in order to prepare
for a v6 implementation, but IPv6
per se is not there.
