Subject: [9fans] /sys/lib/pcdist/README
Date: Sat, 29 Jul 2000 22:28:57 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200007300228.WAA17889@cse.psu.edu> (raw)
Rob's mail of earlier today mentioned
/sys/lib/pcdist/README, which I seem
to have misplaced.
The important points were:
- /sys/lib/pcdist contains source for standalone boot disks
- mk install in /sys/lib/pcdist/cmd and its subdirectories
before trying to make pcflop
- mk 'CONF=pcflop' 9pcflop.gz in /sys/src/9/pc
before trying to make a disk
- mk disk in /sys/lib/pcdist/disk to make a disk image
- you'll want to edit /sys/lib/pcdist/disk/plan9.ini
to suit whatever you're doing.
- bug reports to 9trouble
Have fun!
Russ
