Why ? If you edit /lib/vgadb while the Plan 9 system is booted, the changes do not stick, because the master copy of vgadb is the one on the FAT file system on the floppy disk. Edit it under another operating system (or type a: ed /n/a:/vgadb under Plan 9) and the changes should stick. Russ
