They have a very sweet dev board for the M32R/D that I tried to obtain. It was listed as being available from several distributors. However each one i called said I had to sign some sort of NDA before I could get it. I finally spoke to a representative at Mitsubishi who said he could loan one, provided he dropped it off at our premises, and we signed some kind of agreement. I've heard similar complaints about the M16C -- people seem to think it's a nice architecture, but hate the Mitsubishi sales folk. If you don't mind my asking, any particular reason for liking the M32R/D ? ;) - pip --upas-rsybmbmvrrslqnkjllpjruumow Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: Received: from cse.psu.edu (claven.cse.psu.edu [130.203.3.50]) by invincible.cnchost.com id MAA14622; Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:48 -0400 (EDT) [ConcentricHost SMTP MX 1.15] Errors-To: Received: from localhost (majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with SMTP id MAA22434; Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:44 -0400 (EDT) Received: by claven.cse.psu.edu (bulk_mailer v1.5); Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:42 -0400 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) id MAA22413 for 9fans-outgoing; Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:37 -0400 (EDT) X-Authentication-Warning: claven.cse.psu.edu: majordom set sender to owner-9fans using -f Received: from er3.rutgers.edu (52508@er3.rutgers.edu [165.230.180.141]) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id MAA22409 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:33 -0400 (EDT) Received: (from anothy@localhost) by er3.rutgers.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) id MAA07209 for 9fans@cse.psu.edu; Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:31 -0400 (EDT) Date: Sun, 13 Aug 2000 12:38:31 -0400 (EDT) From: Anthony Sorace Message-Id: <200008131638.MAA07209@er3.rutgers.edu> Subject: [9fans] Mitsubishi's M32R Content-Type: text Sender: owner-9fans@cse.psu.edu Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Precedence: bulk To: undisclosed-recipients:;undisclosed-recipients:;@cse.psu.edu X-UIDL: 763 anybody know anything about this chip?
