The problem with spensa has been solved. Jim noted the problem was that spensa was mapping the vga framebuffer in a place which clashed with Plan 9's kernel virtual mapping. He said to remove the 'linear=1' for my card entry in vgadb. This worked, rio came up, and everything was happy. =) > My former Plan 9 file server gets further, but then panics.
